Description

ServiceNow Senior Solution Architect - Konvergent is supporting one of it's Enterprise clients who are undertaking a programme of work to improve its ability to provide technical support for colleagues. By utilising a more modern toolset and making improvements to processes and practices, the company aims to reduce support overheads and provide an improved experience for users. Due to the specialist nature of the role, we need to look beyond our traditional networks to find a senior solution architect with expert ServiceNow experience to own the end-to-end solution design and act as the technical design authority within the programme.

Deliverables

Support the evaluation process and define the assessment criteria for vendors and tools to ensure they are fit for purpose from a technical point of view.

  • Development of high-level strategic reports and presentation to deliver your recommendations to the relevant governance boards and technology leadership to obtain sign-off.
  • Own the end-to-end high-level solution design for all components delivered within the programme.
  • Work closely with the domain Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment with the wider technology strategy/roadmap.
  • Development of key documents and assessment scoring vendor/tool security assessment and architectural governance processes.
  • Act as a point of architectural assurance during delivery, ensuring components are delivered in line with the high-level design and agreed roadmaps/strategies.
  • Help to manage vendor relationships, and act as the technical point of contact.

Competencies required:

  • Demonstrable experience acting as the lead solutions architect on similar programmes.
  • Must have comprehensive, broad and deep knowledge of ServiceNow
  • Experience of Solution Architecture from RFI/Vendor Evulation stages through to implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience of participating in and running tender processes (ITT, RFI, RFP, RFQ etc.).
  • Demonstrable experience of creating and presenting deliverables to support options evaluation and recommendation for tools or vendors.
  • Demonstrable experience creating and documenting solutions designs and architectures.
  • Demonstrable experience in service management, case management, and service operations technology.
  • High-level knowledge of TOGAF.
  • Consulting background preferred.
  • Proactive: able to come on board and quickly add value and take the lead on their areas of responsibility, understand the key relationships they need to foster, and get up to speed with complex internal processes.

  • Chatbot/Virtual Digital Assistant technology
  • Process automation technology (eg BluePrism)
  • Microsoft 365 (specifically, SharePoint Online and Teams)
  • Digital Experience Monitoring technology (eg Riverbed)
