Cloud Engineer (Java/Azure and AWS)

We are looking for a hands on engineering consultant to join the team and provide guidance and expertise in building on Azure platform and migrating existing services from AWS to Azure. You will be working alongside engineers building a tier-1 web service and you will draw from your experience while guiding them through the process rather than doing all the work yourself. You will also help us define the infrastructure for building new and migrating existing services from our current AWS deployment, so it is essential that you are experienced with both AWS and Azure.
This appointment is for 3 months with possibility of extension to 6 months.
Deliverables:
- Client Credentials service, working alongside a team of 7 engineers
- Infrastructure for building services in Azure environment, working alongside a small team of 2-3 engineers
- Migration path for existing AWS services, working alongside a small team of 2-3 engineers
Essentials:
- Demonstrable experience in architecting cloud migration projects (AWS to Azure)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and it's relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments
- Experience with Kubernetes on AWS
- Experience with Kubernetes on Azure
- Experience with CosmosDB
- Experience developing Spring Boot services in Java
