- Duration: 3-6 months + possible ext.
- Work location: Krakow, Poland
- Workload: 100%
- End client: Automotive
- Language: English- fluent, Polish- fluent
- Remote: Remote working to start with, and on-site once the COVID-19 situation improves and we all start to return to our offices.
Summary of Position:
Our esteemed client in Krakow Poland is undergoing an enterprise level change in their IT Infrastructure landscape. This means that they will be looking to transform their IT infrastructure into state-of-art technologies.
As part of their Operations, the client is updating their infrastructure standards and upgrading/installing their infrastructure.
To succeed in this role, the candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and VMware technologies.
Candidate Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this position will have the following experiences and expertise:
- 7+ Years of experience in Windows Server OS and VMware technologies
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Clustering and Hyper-V;
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008,2012, 2016 & 2019;
- Deep understanding of VMWare ESX and ESXi;
- Clear understanding of VMWare vCenter and SCVMM
- Clear understanding of VMWare networking including distributed Switches, vLans, virtual NICs, and NIC Bonding;
- Setting up and managing VMWare DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler) and VMWare SRM (Site Recovery Manager);
- Can work on weekend
- Work under 24x7 environment
- Work under pressure
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Educational Requirements:
- Relevant degree in computer science or information systems
- VMware Certified Professional
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer - Windows Server
- ITIL Foundations certification is a plus
