- Language: English- fluent, Polish- fluent
- Remote: Remote working to start with, and on-site once the COVID-19 situation improves and we all start to return to our offices.
Summary of Position:
Our esteemed client in Krakow is undergoing an enterprise level change in their IT Infrastructure landscape. This means that they will be looking to transform their IT infrastructure into state-of-art technologies.
As part of this transformation, the client is changing their backup environment from existing backup technology to CommVault. The CommVault Backup SME will perform the duties that involve Server Side deployment (ComServ etc) and client side deployment of CommVault agents. To succeed in this role, the candidate will have an in-depth knowledge and experience in CommVault backup services.
Candidate Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this position will have the following experiences and expertise:
- 5+ Years of experience in Server Backup technologies
- 5+ Years hands-on experience in CommVault Backups specifically.
- Strong experience in Upgrade Projects like Windows Upgrade, Database upgrade, etc.
- Implementation of CommVault Backup services end-to-end
- Data protection and backup recovery solution familiarity such as using virtual tapes, disk to Tape, Tape to disk, disk to disk backups.
- Unix and Windows Administration experience
- Configuring and maintaining Database backups - SQL, Oracle, SAP, etc
- Produce regular reports
- Work under 24x7 environment
- Work under pressure
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Educational Requirements:
- Relevant degree in computer science or information systems
- CommVault backup certification
- ITIL Foundations certification is a plus
