Android Developer- £ per day- Greenfield project- Remote
This is a greenfield project to work within a brand new digital innovation hub who were founded with the mandate to build new digital products and services to leave a lasting impact for over 500 million customers globally. You will be working within a lean agile team for one of the most established IoT businesses in the world.
You Are:
- You have experience developing, releasing and maintaining native Java Applications; developing testing suites for mobile applications and have a deep understanding of the Android SDK.

Skills for the role:
- Excellent knowledge of design patterns and strong OOP skills
- Published multiple Android apps to the play store
- Knowledge of the Gradle build system Familiar with MVP pattern and clean architecture
- Hands on experience and knowledge most popular 3rd party libraries including Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava
- Experience with Kotlin
- Experience ensuring compatibility with older Android versions
- Experience with remote data via REST and JSON
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
- Experience of building custom UIs, design principles, patterns and best practices
- Scrum and Kanban
- Familiarity with tracking app metrics, using 3rd party analytic tools such as Fabric or Crashlytics
- Experience with IoT is a big plus
