Java Developer (Pega)

Up to £350 per day
3-month contract
Digital Skills are working with a systems Integrator within the technology industry and we are currently recruiting for a Pega Developer for an initial 3-month contract. Due to current Covid restrictions, the successful candidates can work from anywhere in Europe.
Experience & Competencies:
- Excellent skill in Java, J2EE.
- Experience in Implementation of Pega PRPC 5.5 and above components
- Experience in Pega frameworks - smart adjust, smart dispute etc
- Good expertise in integration tools such as Web services, COM, ETL, TIBCO etc
- Hands-on skills on Oracle, MS SQL or equivalent database
- Experience in SOAP, XML, XSD, REST etc
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy enterprise-level applications on Pega PRPC.
- Evaluate, make decisions and recommendations around the use of new or existing software products and tools.
- Collaborate with team members and business representatives in determining requirements and design. Working with departmental Team Leaders and Managers to fully understand and assess their needs and look to provide suggestions that will benefit the business.
- Take part in defining the test strategy and create the functional design of the project. He/she is the architect of the entire project.
