I am currently recruiting for a tester for a telecommunication company based in Hertfordshire.
The Role
Develops plans and solutions to define depth of testing, data and deliverables required. Identifies and analyses defects or issues to understand impacts, reporting on and discussing findings to advance solutions. Conducts testing on a customer or supplier site to assess the impact and functional capability of a solution. Delivers quality test diagnostics to report on accuracy, quality, errors and whether customer requirements are being met. Applies best practice techniques, using expertise to tailor testing approach depending on the needs of the project, and supports adoption of best practice.
Description
- You would be accountable for all test case creation, diagnostics of defects, and test data strategy for their scope.
- The role is undertaking first level diagnostics, diagnosing defects against components using techniques and tools defined in the Test Strategy and will pinpoint defects against the correct component in multi-component journeys.
- Write test specifications and test designs (scripts) and running the test scripts to time cost and quality.
