Description
The chosen candidate will be required to work alongside the Project Manager to deliver a BETA service.
My client is looking for someone who has strong experience in Product Management within Government clients, who can assist the delivery of an agile project to Government (GDS) Standards.
Able to work with the Project Manager, Service Owner and Digital Lead to ensure the supplier delivers the Minimum Viable Product to time, cost and quality A good communicator, able to give effective feedback Able to manage the key risks and issues Able to manage the key milestones.
The candidate must be able to manage the relationship with the supplier's Delivery Manager, specifically, to monitor projected budgets against expenditure ensuring that: As a part of sprint planning, the supplier provides an initial cost estimate for the work to be undertaken in the sprint and the resources which will be utilised During the sprint, any change to the estimate is provided, with justification At the end of the sprint, provides the actual costs and justification for any change to the initial estimate the supplier works in a transparent way and that the work is understood by the team (Product Owner, Service Owner, Digital Lead) And therefore, be able to effectively challenge any costs and resources which appear to be excessive, or go beyond what is reasonable for the volume of work being undertaken.
