Description
Chef Engineer required by Whitehall Resources for an initial 6 month contract.
Although this role will be working remotely initially, you may be required in Cheshire at a later date.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE AN UMBRELLA COMPANY FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT*
Skills and experience required:
Strong Chef IaC Experience
- Chef 13 - client knowledge
- Config driven cookbooks based on environment
- Implementing COTS products in Chef
Chef for Linux (RHEL7)
- Running/managing applications as system services
- Understanding of file systems, permissions, users etc.
- Logging/Observability of COTS
- Systems/components integration experience (REST connectivity, TLS for comms etc
- Active Directory Integration
Desirable: HSM/Secure Enclave experience, Cryptography Experience
