Data Centre Analyst - £375 - £450 per day - UK wide travel with flexible base location
JNC are working with a well-respected national organisation that is looking for a contract Data Centre Analyst to join the team and work closely with their Data Centre Manager.
The Data Centre Analyst will work across all divisions within the business and focus on the management and support of their Storage, Backup and Compute environments. This will include both project work and BAU.
All applicants must have worked in a Data Centre environment to be considered.
Experience Required:
- Strong Microsoft Windows OS capabilities
- Good Linux capabilities
- Hands on experience with HPE Blade & Physical Servers
- Administration and support for VMWare
- Strong storage skills with SAN - HPe & EMC
- Backup skills with NetBackup/Spectrum/Avepoint
Responsibilities:
BAU support
- Management and support of internal and external Helpdesk systems
- Server Support and provisioning
- Datacentre Review and Response Alerts
- Review issues with sparse file and tidy stale snapshots
Project support
- Carry out and document Data-centre audit and restructure
- Carry out and document Disaster recovery development, testing
- Assist with Data Audit and Analysis. Possible restructure
