Our client are a global leader with an opportunity for a Systems Engineer working on Naval Maritime systems - remote during covid/Havant, Hants.
Seeking a strong systems engineer with full life cycle experience & experience of Naval maritime/aerospace/military/defence contractors.
Typical projects: naval radar navigation systems for ships/subs, naval radar compass systems, electronic chart display systems
In the role you will assist with requirements gathering, technical planning, design, implementation, systems integration, verification & validation, cost & risk, and supportability of systems and solutions for the military maritime sector.
You must be eligible for SC level clearance for this role.
Experience sought:
- Experienced within design, implementation, integration, test and acceptance of Naval/Defence/Military Navigation, Sensor and Electronic Warfare Systems or similar
- Customer focused and able to manager Customer requirements to derive System & Sub-System specifications
- System design activities, documentation and preparation/presentation of technical Design Reviews
- Coordinate and support Technical Interchange and Working Group meetings
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience of Defence Standards
