Description
Purpose of the assignment:
1. Network normalization: reconfiguration of the VLAN, badgeses, printers and other peripherals on different sites, review the racks:
at. 13 antennas with linux Servers (12 in MPLS, 1 in ISP Proximus)
b. 20 MPLS antennas (reconfigure VLANs, IPs, peripherals, review racks, etc.)
vs. 20 Proximus antennas (install a fortigate to connect the VPN antenna to our Firewall, give users access to a share on the central Servers, etc.)
2. Document the solutions implemented.
3. Guarantee the proper functioning and availability of networks.
4. Work on the prevention of network failures and thus contribute to the proper functioning and availability of applications and data.
Expected deliverables:
* Network migration plan
* Documentation of changes made
* Coaching and knowledge transfer of existing system engineers and helpdesk employees
Requested profiles:
This is a senior IS engineer with at least 3 years of relevant experience and the following skills:
* Network knowledge (TCP IP & VLAN, CISCO switch, VoIP)
* Preferably bilingual: French, Dutch
* Available 5 days a week until the end of 2020
