MHC are an award-w inning IT and Business Consultancy, specialising in Change Management initiatives, which we deliver working in a collaborative way with our Clients.
We are currently working on a wide variety of assignments that include some major Digital Transformation initiatives, Regulatory and Compliance Programmes and Tools adoption projects where we are providing specialist technical and business services to a client base of primarily Tier 1 clients.
Purpose:

Work closely with our product, tech nology and propositions teams to solve complex user problems and needs that fit within the business framework.

Responsible for the information architecture, user flow and implementing best usability practices for products and services across multiple digital platforms.

Play a role in helping us build a best-in class design function for Metro Bank.
Essential Requirements:
-
Product design background is advantageous, although not essential.
-
Design heuristics and techniques of user-centered design.
-
Usability principles and techniques.
-
Track-record of setting best practices for web-based information architecture and design.
-
Understanding of designing for touch devices and design of Apps.
-
Understanding of web analytics and how they inform product enhancements.
-
Able to p roduce standard UX documentation - User journeys, flows, wireframes and prototypes.

Contribute to user research activities including but not limited to, user interviews and card sorts.

Take user research/insight and model user behaviour.
-
Previous experience designing digital online products for Web and Native Apps.

Designing using Sketch and building clickable prototypes ( using InVision or other prototyping tools)

Good understanding of Web Browser restrictions and Mobile Device capabilities.

Some Financial services experience or previous exposure to FinTech is advantageous although not essential.

Experience working in a development team with understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Work with product managers and designers to formulate ideas on how to improve products by actively gathering and understanding customer, user and stakeholder needs.

Responsibility for translating product requirements into imaginative user focused design concepts through a detailed understanding of the user and their behaviour.

Formulate ideas on how to improve usability by enhancing user interface designs and navigation.

Present ideas a nd solutions to management and product teams that support the vision and product strategy roadmap.

Contribute to product vision and strategic decisions in collaboration with product management team members.

Work closely with product owners and engineers to ensure a user-focused approach from concept through to launch.

Conduct industry research and user testing to be able to recommend solutions based on the marketplace developments.

Based upon the evidence you have gathered, create satisfying but seamless and invisible user experiences that se rves the users.

Design and build clickable prototype designs for user testing new concept features and products with users.

Liaise with Developers and QA's to insure designs are built and delivered in line with designs.

Provide development teams with support and guidance to help follow our design standards and our UX best practices.
