Description

A world leading energy company is looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager to manage and support their global bitumen supply chain and underpin the development and deployment of this high growth business.

This position represents a key commercial and supply interface between Bitumen and Suppliers, Customers and Trading in terms of Supply Chain Optimisation & Management as well as Order to Cash activities. Currently this client is undergoing significant change in order to accelerate the energy transition. The Bitumen business is a pivotal business in further driving this sustainability journey. As the pace and dynamics in this supply chain can be highly volatile, incumbent needs to display strong resilience and understand that in this 24/7 supply chain operations it is required at times to work outside of regular office hours to perform urgent business critical activities.

Accountabilities:

Support for Regional Supply Operations Team:
  • Invoices settlements + demurrage management
  • Tracking of stocks already imported falling under the end user agreement scheme
  • In the no-deal Brexit scenario, the workload on import/export activities will increase further which you will support
  • Act as key support around month-end activities + act as the bridge between the business and the order to cash processes (knowledge of GSAP considered highly beneficial)
Support for Regional Channel Optimisation team
  • Support cost council value tracker updates
  • Support pulling together the Regional Quarterly Business Performance Review highlights/lowlights & supporting data analysis
  • Translating the integrated 3-month forward supply plan into the daily planning sheet, including a credible base schedule for vessels and barges between the relevant producing and consuming plants/depots across the region.
  • Gains/losses tracking support to derive actionable insights. Work with the team (blender, pricing, supply) to provide M+1, 2, 3 depot cost of product
  • Assist with ensuring the vessel/barge plan are in the relevant planning sheets and reflected in the forward stock trend charts
  • Managing the Supply/Operations KPIs trackers to support the look back/long loop meetings for driving actionable insights
  • Working with the team to update the disruption tracker data tracking/inputs this will be used as input to Step 1 meetings and other regular regional performance reviews to drive corrective actions
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
Experienced professional with excellent Communication + Analytical Skills and sound performance track record supported by evidence/references with a strong resilience track record
Working knowledge of Global SAP and understanding of SOX requirements
Skilled in managing Order to Cash processes and working knowledge of S&OP process
Experience with International Trade and Tax compliance
Contract Management experience
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with main stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in a virtual and multicultural environment where everyone is sharing core
values of displaying honesty, integrity and respect for people every day
Base knowledge of HSSE rules and regulations, strong compliance track record
Self-starter with a healthy dose of curiosity and sufficient capacity to absorb a steep learning curve in a short period of time
