Implement an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering that commissions a secure Managed Private Cloud (MPC) at the Client's preferred delivery location (9-month build), followed by lift and shift re-hosting of the client's existing workloads to the new environment (6-month migration) and then operations for the 3 year term.
Role and responsibilities:
- The BMC/Remedy Solution Architect will own and be responsible for the architecture, design, engineering and implementation of the BMC/Remedy ITSM suite
- The candidate will oversee the implementation of the BMC Remedy ITSM Suite products including Service Level Agreements (SLM), Configuration management (CMDB), knowledge management, and self-service capabilities to align with and support identified requirements
- In addition, the Architect will oversee implementing required integrations of the BMC Remedy Action Request System with other GOTS and COTS application(s)
- Architect the BMC Remedy platform to meet identified functional and non-functional requirements. Design and lead development and integration of Remedy improvements and feature additions utilizing feedback from leadership and infrastructure teams including self-service and capability automations
- Perform change assessments including the development and implementation of change control board documentation as well as attend and defend change requests
- Deliver ongoing improvement opportunities with processes, standards, and policies
- Work as a team player, learning form others as well as mentoring
- Responsible to operations and maintenance of out of the box Remedy Applications.
