Description
As a Senior cloud engineer you will be responsible for building cloud infrastructure components and maintaining the health status of all infrastructure components required to support the cloud platform to provide a cost-effective solution and provide a comprehensive run capability meeting customer SLA's.
This Cloud Engineer will be required to move site locations during this contract. All locations are in Thames Valley region (Farnborough/Aldershot and along the M3 Motorway) in the UK.
Required
- Strong experience of VMWare Cloud Foundation and supporting technologies
- Experience of build and operation of highly secure infrastructure systems
- Understanding of VMWare NSX networking
- Experience of working with VMWare vRealize Automation and Operations
- Experience of hyperconverged infrastructure systems
- Ability to learn new technology skills
- MS Office skills eg Excel, Word and Project, Visio
Desirable
- Experience of Dell VxRail Hyper converged Infrastructure
- Experience of CISCO networking
- Understanding of Lean-Agile methods and DevOps working practices
- Experience of VMWare Horizon 7
- Use of VMWare Code Stream deployment pipelines
- Active Directory integration
