The client is a global banking group, with their EMEA HQ based in London. We have assisted in the placement of over 100 IT professionals at this client and receive consistent positive feedback from successful candidates.
You will be joining the E-Trading team to assist in supporting trading, sales and risk departments across all asset classes, mainly through maintaining and upgrading the ION Platform and new ION Features.
Skills/Environment
ION Trading Platform - MMI, Sysadmin and D2D/D2C components
Supporting trading platforms such as: Bloomberg, BrokerTec, Markitwire, etc.
FIX Protocol
Java (desired), or Shell Scripting/Python/Perl
Linux environment
Role Overview
As a successful candidate you will help the business with day to day activities and BAU projects. You will provide L1 - L3 support for trading systems with a focus on ION. You will also set-up new ION Gateways and maintain the ION Platform and its topology.
