Java Developer - Contract - Research Technology - £650-£700pd
Working for one of Europe's leading Investment Banks you will work on a multitude of Java based applications that help provide research and digital content for their Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income businesses. The team have a steady workflow of projects, all with varying requirements and demands from each business area. The applications are built using modern Core Java, spring/hibernate, SQL and opensource frameworks.
The team are still currently fully remote, they place a big emphasis on developing an agile environment and expect their developers to take responsibility of end to end delivery of the products for the business. This is a very autonomous environment.
Requirements overview:
- Extensive modern Core Java experience
- Spring/Hibernate
- SQL/Oracle Database experience
- Track record of stakeholder engagement and project ownership
- Extensive experience on enterprise scale systems
