DevOps/Infrastructure Solution Engineer
Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Infrastructure Solution Engineer to work with a key client based in Shropshire
Key Skills:
* Functional: Team Leader, Team Building, Configuration Management Lead, Strategic/Tactical Planning, Business Analysis and Development, Excellent Communication and Interpretation skills
* Technical: AWS ec2, s3, IAM, VPC, uDeploy, Jenkins, Shell & Batch scripts, Docker, Maven, GIT, SVN, Appworx, ServiceNow & Opensource tools.
* Manage DevOps and Infrastructure supporting tools for GE Capital Treasury teams
* Create/Modify scripts to automate various stages that begin from code to deployment
* Jenkins uDeploy integration, Jenkins Sonarqube integration, Jenkins Master and Slave setup
- Install Jenkins & Configure in Linux and Windows machine
- Create Freestyle and Pipeline jobs and configure access for role based users and groups
- Install and Manage various Jenkins plugins and configuration
- Configure Jenkins Master and Slave Servers and add nodes to it
* uDeploy AWS server integration, AWS s3 bucket integration
- Integrate with build to automatically deploy, test and promote new builds
- Orchestra a complex production deployment of applications and configuration
- Orchestration of changes across Servers, components and processes
- Configuration and security differences across environments
- Automated provisioning, updating, and de-provisioning of cloud and environments
* Automate jobs in Appworx tool for the applications
- Configure the jobs both in Windows and Linux environments
- Configure the jobs in both Shell & Batch scripts
- Configure the complex jobs to run along with Perl scripts
