Description
Java Developer with current banking sector experience with strong core Java, Spring Boot, API, microservices and Google Cloud stack/tools experience.
Remote working until at least end of year.
4-month initial contract to work on a project at a leading Bank. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Core Java alongside Spring Boot and will also have experience working in a Microservices environment. You will have cloud experience with GCP.
ESSENTIAL:
- Banking experience
- Google Cloud experience
- microservices, GKE, Kubernetes in Java on GCP
- Cucumber Java BDDs.
- Spring Boot, Spring Cloud with GCP
- DevOps/GitOps culture
3 areas of preference:
- Risk Managements systems and reporting
- API management platform development, ie. google apigee
- Data Engineering, Google Spanner, BigQuery
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of core Java, Spring Boot and SQL database technologies.
- Application Security
- Knowledge on Cloud platforms
- Experience creating APIs and microservices .
- Proficiency in micro-services concepts, microservices principles and spring modules concepts hands-on micro-services
Remote working, 4 months rolling contracts. Contract will fall within scope of IR35, so umbrella company will need to be engaged.
