Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit a Web Developer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of c.£/day (outside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will initially be remote based.Responsibilities:
Our client has developed an MVP for a web based Data Marketplace. The Data Marketplace allows customers and users to browse data sets and analytical products, connect with experts, and access data and products they are authorised to see.
The Data Marketplace connects to core data and analytical platforms and products to expose the metadata, and also has its own metadata layer that is maintained by data curators.
This assignment is to develop the Data Marketplace beyond the current MVP by connecting to other data and analytical platforms and further developing the interface and curator functionality.
Essential Skills:
Node.js
MongoDB
Knowledge of Git, DevOps and working in cloud environments (to help with processes for deployment)
Experience of consuming REST APIs
Experience of LDAP integration
Desirable Skills:
Experience working with Azure Cloud environments
Denodo Data Virtualisation
Oracle
Tableau
SAP BusinessObjects
