Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit a BI Consultant for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of c.£450/day (outside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will initially be remote based.Responsibilities:
Our client is looking to review and expand our offering in the geospatial data and analysis area.
The assignment will include reviewing current geospatial capabilities and how these can be leveraged, identify gaps in geospatial capabilities, and to implement any changes to the architecture and platforms to enable delivery against specific use cases that require geospatial data and analysis.
Specific current use cases and around surveillance and management of Covid-19 at local, regional, and national levels.
Essential in this work will be ensuring full integration with existing data and analytical platforms, access methods, security models, and audit models.
Essential Skills:
Geospatial data
Creation of polygons and network diagrams
Analysis and visualisation of geospatial data
Extensive knowledge of geospatial technologies
Data architecting and engineering
Desirable Skills:
Experience working with Azure Cloud environments
Denodo Data Virtualisation
