SAP VMS Consultant - Remote
We are under instruction from our Global client, for a Remote SAP VMS Consultant to work on their end to end migration activities from SAP IS Retail 4.7 to SAP IS Auto. Working remotely from anywhere in the world on United Arab Emirates hours/days, the position will initially be a 6 month contract with scope to extend.
The key deliverables required for this SAP VMS Consultant piece of work are:
- Gather the business requirements
- Configure the SAP VMS module
- Provide the technical specification for the ABAP team
- Carry out Unit Testing, UAT and SIT
- Create and disseminate end user training materials
- Data migration, leading onto Go-live support
The primary skills, knowledge and experience being sort after for these deliverables include:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience of SAP SD experience, with good knowledge of Order to Delivery, Sales business processes and other variant configuration
- Strong demonstrable experience with SAP IS Auto VMS implementation and support projects
- End to end vehicle processes from procurement to sales
- VMS equipment and asset management process knowledge
- Integration of IS Auto into 3rd party applications experience
- Knowledge of ABAP for troubleshooting
- Experience in VAT implementation would be beneficial
- Professional experience SAP ECC6, with S/4 HANA being beneficial
- Strong communication and presentation skills - able to write and speak English fluently
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong senior stakeholder management experience, across all levels of an organisation
- Comfortable and experienced with working with globally dispersed teams, in multiple time zones
- Flexible with the potential of occasional global travel when situations improve
