Currently have a requirement for an SC Cleared SharePoint Administrator/Consultant, to assist my client on a short term project, due to commence the beginning of November and continue until the end of January 2021, with view for possible further extension.

Due to the nature of the role and the time scale and requirements issued by the client, candidates have been advised to hold current and active SC clearance for this opportunity.

In addition and due to current Covid-19 restrictions, this role will be be based remotely.

Please see key information as per the below, provided by the client for your consideration:

Overview:

The role will be to support the current approach to migrations of SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 to new build matching versions of SharePoint hosted in Microsoft Azure.

Data will be migrated via content database attach migrations.

It is expected that at some point during the project there may be a shift in stance to migration of data to SharePoint online using migration tooling from a supplier such as Quest or using Microsoft online migrations tools so the flexibility to switch approach and move to a data migration approach using tooling, mapping and planning would be required.
Activities may include Migration Solution & Documentation, Discovery Analysis, Migration Mapping, Migration Planning & Expert Remediation for issues during migrations

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of SharePoint Database Attach Migrations
  • Understanding of SharePoint content migrations using migration tooling
