Scala Engineer/Developer (Scala, Akka, Play, Cats, Kafka) - 12 month contract - 75%-80% retention rates
Skills/experience
Must-haves:
At least 5 years of professional Java development experience
Eager to become a senior Scala developer (if not yet the case)
Business savvy: we believe that a developer must build a thorough knowledge of the business in order to ask the right questions and make the right decisions when designing/developing software
Able to take ownership: we believe that a developer (together with his/her team) is not only writing code, but owning the code from first specification up to production monitoring and support
Fast learner, broad technological interest
Nice to have:
Scala development experience (Play/Slick/Akka/Cats/)
Angular development experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, microservice architectures, gRPC
Python development experience
