Senior Microsoft Azure Developer - 3-month Contract - Fully Remote
We're looking for a Microsoft Azure Developer/Video Transcripts Automation consultant to work with a specialist agency of the United Nations based in Rome - The successful candidate will be joining The Information and Communications Technology Division to assist in creating a functioning transcript solution on Azure cloud.
The initial contract will run until the end of December, with a start date as soon as October 1st for the right candidate. - This contract is also likely to extend into the new year.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience of developing solutions using Microsoft Azure. This should be accompanied by at least 4 professional production implementations
- Proven demonstrable experience of integrating additional taxonomies in MS Azure transcription services to have client specific keywords and topics
- Proven experience of training MS Azure transcription services to recognise people, topics, non-native speakers accents and regional accents (eg North American, British etc) to improve the transcription quality
- Proven ability to develop a custom solution based on Azure video transcript tools integrating with external data sources.
- Experience working with large codebases and open source technologies
- Expert proficiency in at least one web stack, Ruby, C#, Java, Javascript
(Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English essential.)
