Solution Architect - SC Cleared/Big Data
A Solution Architect is required by a leading organisation in Leatherhead, where you will be required to lead a team (who are focused on the development of new capabilities on a data platform) on an initial 5 month contract (may be room for extensions).
As the Solution Architect you will have proven team leadership skills, be pro-active, take ownership of tasks and provide technical solutions and governance for a team of highly motivated software developers.
You will also have the following:
* Experience of big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark and YARN or other Big Data technologies.
* Experience of designing SQL databases.
* The ability to write technical documentation such as SADs, LLDs, HLDs.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with both management and development teams.
* Knowledge of automation/configuration management (ie Ansible).
