- AWS DevOps Engineer
- Up to £600 per day - negotiable
- 6 month contract
- 100% remote working
Do you have a passion for Continuous Integration and DevOps? Would you like to apply your expertise to Embedded, mobile and supercomputing environments?
It is essential that you have:-
- AWS cloud infrastructure experience
- Writing Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines
- Much of our work uses virtual machines and cloud technologies. Having worked in this context before you have skills in technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is essential - Vagrant, Terraform and OpenStack are desirable
- Version control, such as Git and Gerrit
- Using Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) such as Ansible and Terraform to configure cloud services
- Strong communication and team working skills. The role involves collaborating with development teams within to deliver improvements to continuous integration. Excellent problem solving abilities are required
- A good level of proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java or Go
- Integrating Static Analysis tools such as SonarQube and Coverity into Jenkins Pipelines
- Integration with Artifactory for artefact storage.
- Have used tooling to visualise metrics using Kibana and Grafana.
- Experience with automated test frameworks, such as Robot Framework.
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle including design, implementation and testing. Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
