NHS Volunteer - Lead Data Warehouse Developer - Manchester

Lead Data Warehouse Developer - THE NHS NEEDS YOU!

VIQU Recruitment are supporting a Manchester based Trust who are urgently looking for a Lead Developer who specialises in data warehousing on a voluntary basis leading to a full time paid contract in the future.

With Covid-19 putting them under unprecedented strain, the Trust is currently running at maximum capacity, and needs your help.

The role requires on-site support in safe areas of the trust, it is non patient facing.

Tasks will include leading a team of developers helping them to expand and improve their set of products while simultaneously supporting a massive increase in the capacity of their systems. SQL Server BI/Data Warehouse Developer applicants should have experience of developing either BI or Data Warehouse solutions at a senior level, with experience of leading a team.

Summary of experience required:

  • Experience in developing data warehouse solutions
  • Senior Experience in a simlar role
  • high skill level in using the following SQL Server 2017, T-SQL, stored procedures, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) - this role requires heavy use of SSIS in particular
  • Programming and Scripting SQL using C#
  • Table Partitioning/Indexing/Heavy duty Optimisation
