Senior Product manager
My client is looking for an experienced Product manager for a initial 3 month contract working remotely
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in designing & implementing either of the following
- Publisher Commerce Experience - affiliate to dropship programmes
- Commerce experience in Retail and/or physical product/delivery supply chain
- 7-10 years experience working with engineering and design teams using agile software development
- Must be a proven relationship builder with strong verbal and written abilities who can diplomatically and effectively work across departments as well as with external partners
- Self-driven, motivated, and ability to drive objectives forward and see projects and initiatives through to completion
Discovery & Define
- Define approach to Commerce strategy aligned with Brand strategies and roadmap
- Technology Partnerships - work with marketing & engineering to define and align on Buy v Build approach and frame the selection process for third party vendors
- Define a MVP approach to experiment with revenue growth across based on Brand
- Work with analytics and marketing to define metrics and KPIs for reporting improvements with a commerce focus
- The discovery phase includes engineering leadership but no engineers
Product Design & MVP Launch
- Manage a small design team to user research, prototype and prepare for Q1 build of core Affiliate/Product Directory Experiences
- Define and formulate product approach to taxonomy and structured data to align with partner API models
- Work with Commercial and User platform teams on MarTech implementation as it relates to Commerce
- MVP & Launch - Design improved user experiences and templates to cover the first key three commerce journeys
- Improve the existing Verso Templates with focus on commerce user journeys
- Affiliate Publishing
