A leading public sector client based in Exeter, are currently looking for a Agile Delivery Manager for an initial 6 month contract paying up to £558 per day via Umbrella.

The ideal candidate will hold valid SC Clearance.

What we are looking for

  • Agile and Lean practices. You can identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use. You can recognise when something does not work and encourage a mindset of experimentation. You can adapt and reflect, be resilient and have the ability to see outside of the process. You can use a blended approach depending on the context. You can measure and evaluate outcomes. You know how to help teams to manage and visualise outcomes.
  • Commercial management. You can act as the point of contact for contracted suppliers. You understand appropriate internal contacts and processes within a government department. You know how and when third parties should be brought into digital, data and technology
  • Maintaining delivery momentum. You can facilitate the delivery flow of a team, managing the pace and tempo. You can actively address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team. (Relevant skill level: practitioner)

Experience Required

  • Qualified (or suitable experience) as a Scrum Master - facilitation, team health checks, multiple teams
  • Worked in a team that look after the full Life cycle of a product, evidence that they are proactive in considering future change/depreciation
  • Working with Product, project and development teams to understand resource & demand management
  • Acting as liaison between software delivery and infrastructure teams
  • Extensive experience on Agile and Waterfall ways of working
  • Managing and delivering issues in a production environment
  • Maintaining and validating non-functional requirements of the teams products
  • Analysis and monitoring of standard reports
  • Defence knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Cloud - particularly AWS
  • Background in infrastructure & networking
  • Knowledge of Lean practice, process optimisation and ways of working
