Description
My client an International mobile operator is currently looking for an experienced Radio Network Designer to join their Radio Network delivery team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Analysing Drive Test logs and Network protocol traces for underperformance & defects in ESN PTT over SRTP/DTLS.
- Investigate detected and reported Systematic issues within this element of the ESN Service.
- Performance root cause analysis using multiple sources of data primarily from:
- UE Application events/L1 information
- Drive Test UE logs/Wireshark covering OSI L1-L7.
- ENodeB and CN protocol analysis.
- 3rd Party OTT (Over The Top) protocol traces.
- Coverage data.
- Capacity data.
- OSS performance data
- Change logs.
- Work with owners of the failure/underperformance areas to propose, agree and deliver fixes to allow improvements in Emergency Services Network.
- Work with owners of the failure/underperformance areas to propose, agree and deliver fixes to allow improvements in ESN.
Experience required
- In depth knowledge of Mobile networks particularly 4G & Public Safety functionality over LTE with particularly deep understanding design and operation.
- Excellent understanding of how defined RAN KPIs link to Customer Experience.
- In depth knowledge of LTE & SIP signalling, PTT (push to talk), SRTP/DTLS troubleshooting & Optimisation.
- Good understanding of Ericsson SRAN products.
- Good understanding of 3GPP & ETSI specifications.
