Unix Service Operations Analyst
Contract
Working from home/Leeds
Shift position - 1 in 3 weekends & on call rota
Are you looking for a new opportunity in the Leeds area to utilise your Unix skills? You will be supporting large retail systems, managing incidents, apply fixes and fine causes. Identify opportunities for automation and work with the production teams to implement them. Use sophisticated monitoring tools to help understand root cause problems for resolution.
You will have experience support Unix Platforms including Unix commands. Competent with Windows services and monitoring systems (splunk) and be able to write SQL queries. You will have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical teams and be able to work to deadlines.
You may have experience troubleshooting network issues, write and use Scripting languages such as (PHP/bash/python) and exposure to AWS environments.
