What will you be doing?
RPS have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join our team of experts operating within a well-known Central Government Department on a cutting-edge vehicle compliance programme.
Skills required:
Experience: Demonstrable experience operating in a Product Manager role within the transportation industry sector that involves transport modelling/product design, ideally with Vehicle tracking system. Experience producing user journey and product roadmaps, release plans and life cycle plans for the delivery and maintenance of a product from inception to completion.
Skills: Proven ability to articulate, help to define and prioritise new product increments and improvements, including the ability to define high level requirements/prioritise user stories. You will have a broad understanding of Government Security Policy Frameworks and experience working with GDS Standards.
Characteristics: Sound stakeholder management is a key requirement for this role, there will be frequent liaison across User Research Teams, Development Teams, Local Authorities, Transport regulators and external government departments. You will be a compelling and considered influencer, with a consultative and approachable demeanour that will enable your team to deliver to the best of its ability.
The role will be based in London, although remote initially, all applicants must be willing and able to travel to onsite client locations once government restrictions surrounding COVID19 travel are eased.
