Security Cleared Storage & Backup Engineer

Due to the urgency of this role, the client requires all candidates to hold a valid SC clearance.
You will be designing and delivering the storage and backup solution. You will be highly skilled in the latest storage and backup technologies and be able to articulate need. You will be part of a technical team focused on the delivery of a platform in support of the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Storage:
- Developing the specification for the SAN for a new IT system
- Designing the SAN solution
- Implementation of the SAN
- Support of current SAN solution across development and test environments.
Backup:
- Agreeing specification for the backup solution
- Designing the backup solution
- Implementation of the back-up solution
- Support of current backup solution in the Development and Test environment - Tivoli Storage Manager
Must have:
Backup:
- Experience of multiple operating systems (*nix and Windows capabilities)
- Hypervisor level back up of virtual environments
- Familiarity of hybrid on and off premises back up architectures
