Leading Yorkshire based Financial Services business have a requirement for a Data Engineer to join on 6 month contract

The company have invested heavily in Data Strategy moving to new Data Architecture using cloud based technologies.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with SQL development experience and good knowledge of developing a data warehouse.

Experience should include:

  • Working with and designing a data platform
  • Knowledge of Datamodelling principles, including data lakes and warehousing tools
  • Implementation of end-to-end DWH and ETL pipeline solutions
  • Maintenance and optimisation of Data Warehouse solutions to maximise performance
  • Data analysis (any exposure to analytical tools would be advantageous)

Technology:

  • Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS and SSRS)
  • Microsoft Azure - Data Lake, Data Factory and Azure Synapse
  • Analytical Tooling - Azure ML, DataBricks
