The client is a global banking group, with their EMEA HQ based in London. We have assisted in the placement of over 100 IT professionals at this client and receive consistent positive feedback from successful candidates.
Role Overview:
You will be the information security centre of excellence for the business, and ensure effective management and control of information security, IT and information risk by making sure all the appropriate controls are in place and are being followed across the whole business and IT department. You will develop, implement and manage compliance with appropriate IS and IT Security policies, standards and procedures.
Skills/Environment:
-ISO27002 code of practice
-Supporting Operational Risk management, audit & regulatory liaison, and information security risk profile as well as associated operational risk reporting
-Ensuring adequate technical safeguards across Windows & Unix OS, Databases (Oracle, SQL, Sybase) and Network environments
-Intrusion Detection Systems
-Vulnerability Management
-Web Monitoring Systems
Requirements:
-CISSP or CISM qualified
-Strong Security Operations/Engineering background
-Information security within financial services industry
