Description
This successful wealth management business is seeking a Finance Systems Support Analyst to support the Banking, Treasury and wider accounting systems used by its Finance department.
The role involves the following tasks:
*Providing support for Finance systems
*Troubleshooting processing issues, supporting data transfer mechanisms etc.
*Identifying and implementing potential process improvements
*Liaising with IT teams on day to day issues, change requests, functional improvements and future applications
*Production of system & process documentation.
Required previous experience & knowledge:
*Supporting banking systems used within a finance function
*Understanding of Banking and Treasury processes and infrastructure
*Working with accounting systems (general ledger, procurement systems etc.)
*Experience of implementing or participating in financial systems projects
Ideal experience:
*Experience of development of online banking systems
*Understanding of digital security impact on financial systems
*Awareness of banking regulations
*Experience of implementing or participating in financial systems projects
*Exposure to working in a listed/regulated group finance reporting environment, either as part of a group function or in a principal reporting subsidiary
This is a one-year temporary assignment which may extend further.
