Description
An electronics business in Manchester require a Mechanical Design Engineer with good Solidworks experience for an initial 6-month contract which is likely to be extend.
You will be designing a range of cutting-edge and technically advanced communication devices. There is a variety of product development work on offer for existing and new products which you will be involved in.
For this role you must be a Mechanical Design Engineer who has designed products that enclose electronics eg PCB's.
If you have designed products that use wireless communication technology (eg RF communications, antennas) this would be highly desirable but is not essential.
This contract role has the potential to switch to permanent position if you wish.
This role offers you the chance to work on interesting and varied project work, which is at the forefront of technology. The industry sector the business provides their products into is extremely busy at present, which things only set to get busier.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Designed products from concept to manufacture
- Solidworks experience
- Experience designing products that enclose electronics
DESIBABLE EXPERIENCE:
As many of the below as possible:
- Electronics enclosure design
- Shielding/Screening cans
- Cable management
- Heatsinks, heat spreaders, heat pipes
