Description
DevOps Engineer required to support the development and operation of software through tools, environments and practices.
In this role, you will be responsible for underpinning good development processes including managing tools and testing environments, central code control, maintaining development standards and writing software that automates systems to meet Industry best practice including key security requirements.
This will include: understanding requirements, participating in design meetings, documenting solutions and subsequently consulting with clients to refine, test and debug programmes to meet business needs.
- Experience of working with the .NET Standard and Core Frameworks
- Experience of Continuous Integration & Deployment experience. (Azure DevOps and Terraforms to support CI/CD)
- Deploying solutions in Azure cloud solutions
- Exposure to windows server is needed
- Relevant experience in several areas:-
- Networking and communications, LAN, WAN, Cisco ASA, Firewalls, Palo Alto
- Operating Systems, VMWare Cloud/Virtualization (Azure,)
- Network Data Security and Infrastructure/System Security
- Knowledge of and experience in resolving configuration issues
- Understanding of software and infrastructure architecture
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Knowledge of NHS standards eg FHIR a bonus.
