Senior Front End Developer (Angular/.Net) - £500 - Outside IR35

We look to our Senior Front End Developers as members of our A Team, expert in their fields of specialism and being a fundamental member of the team responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software solutions whilst supporting and developing other members of the software team.

Fulfilling this role, you will act as both a Senior Software Engineer and a Leading Consultant in an established and trusted consulting firm operating in both the private and public sectors.

Job Duties:

  • Develop high-quality software design and low level architecture designs

  • Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life cycle

  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and Scripting

  • Review and debug code

  • Perform validation and verification testing

  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to fix and improve products

  • Document development phases and monitor systems

  • Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

  • Mentoring and coaching team members

Skills:

Required Experience:

  • Between 5-10 years of development experience

  • Deep applied knowledge of Angular (plus ideally C# and .NET Core)

  • Knowledge of selected Front End technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)

  • Knowledge of relational databases (ideally Azure SQL/SQL Server)

  • Understanding of non relational databases (ideally Cosmos DB)

  • Solid understanding of operating systems (eg Windows)

  • Ability to communicate your design, both verbally and in written form, to a technical and non-technical audience

  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent organizational skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with SignalR

  • Familiarity with video conferencing frameworks/tooling (eg Twilio, Kinley)

  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms (ideally Azure, else AWS or GCP)

  • Familiarity with automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management (eg Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, ARM templates)

  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tooling
