- Performance Tester (JMeter)
- Contract (3-6 months)

- Remote-Working (Client offices located in Manchester - one week in three)
- Candidates must have current or recently expired Security Clearance
Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in the use of JMeter to author and execute scripts to performance test web applications based on high level user journeys and scenarios
- Emulation of network latency, management of multiple user accounts and logins for performance testing
- Configuration of JMeter master/slave load generation environments
- Experience of working with developers to analyse a range of performance metrics to identify potential issues (response times, database metrics, infrastructure metrics, etc.)
- Experience of working as part of an agile team, and integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
- Particular experience of performance testing .NET and MySQL based apps is a positive
The Opportunity:
You will be involved with a number of highly-visible, public-facing projects and we looking to bring in an experienced Performance Tester to assist with the development of future platforms and systems. This position is expected to run into the New Year and beyond, so ideally candidates will be able to commit to a long-term contract opportunity. You'll be joining an existing project team that provide a great environment for you to succeed in; they have consistently hit their milestones and have been rewarded with the quality of work delivered.
NB: We will be looking for someone to start in early-November (or ASAP) with interviews happening from the 26th October.
