Microsoft Power Platform Delivery Lead - Global Bank

A leading Global Bank currently require a Microsoft Power Platform Delivery Lead for an initial 6-month contract based in London or fully remote, paying £600 - £750 + per day via PAYE.

Description

Power Platform scope at the Bank includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and incorporates Dynamics 365. The Microsoft Power Platform Delivery Lead will own the delivery of all Power Platform solutions developed within the Global Platform team (CoE) and ensure all solutions deployed by the bank are compliant with governance and policy. The Delivery Lead role will be multi-disciplined, able to contribute toward the overall success of the Power Platform by applying experience in Architecture and Development on the Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will have financial services experience and success leading the delivery of Power Platform programmes in a Centre of Excellence.

The role will report to the Power Platform Lead in Global Cloud Services

Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications:

  • Must have at least 5 years' experience delivering projects on the Power Platform/Dynamics 365
  • Must have experience in leading delivery of a shared service function
  • Relevant Intermediate and Advanced Microsoft Certifications for Microsoft Azure and Power Platform including MB-600 Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
  • 5+ years' experience with Common Data Model including Plug-ins development, Security model (Roles, Business Units, Field Level, etc...), Business rules, Web API, SDK Libraries/Tools, C#.NET development, Integrations via service endpoints, and Automated Testing (Unit/Integration)
  • 5+ years' experience with Model Driven Apps including Configurations and customizations, Business processes and rules, Forms/views/dashboards, Web resource development, JavaScript development
  • 3+ years' experience with Canvas Apps including Building pages/navigation/formulas, using connectors, Using flows
  • 3+ years' experience with Flow (Power Automate) including using triggers and actions, Best practices and limitations
  • 3+ years' experience with Power BI including Building reports using Power BI, Publishing and sharing reports, Using data from CDS via connector & SQL
  • 3+ years' experience with Azure including building Azure functions to extend CDS, Using Service Bus to extend CDS, Knowledge of Key vault and service principals
  • 5+ years' experience with Power Platform Admin including Environment management including security groups, and DLP management
  • 3+ years' experience with DevOps/ALM including PowerShell, Power Platform ALM Tools, Creation of Azure DevOps pipelines, Knowledge of Git, Knowledge of quality/security tools (Power Apps checker, SonarQube, CheckMarx, Nexus)
  • 1+ years' experience with CoE Toolkit including understanding of CoE Toolkit components, experience in extending and customizing CoE Toolkit
  • 3+ years' experience working in an agile management project, with knowledge of key agile concepts and ceremonies, and ability to apply agile concepts in day to day activities
  • 3+ years' experience of working in financial services or another highly regulated environment, knowledge of applying security throughout development life cycle, knowledge of change controls processes, experience in managing risk and implementing controls, and experience of delivering complex enterprise systems across multiple regions
  • 3+ years' experience of working in CoE type environment in designing and building re-usable and scalable components
  • Must have at least 5 years' extensive experience with designing complex implementations on the Power Platform/Dynamics 365
  • Must have at least 5 years' hands-on experience in implementation of projects on the Power Platform Industry recognised Azure cloud certifications
  • Experience in defining best practices and standards
  • Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management and developers)
  • Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company with exposure working within/for Financial Services
  • Strong networking knowledge
  • A strong understanding of Identity and Access management principles and tools
  • An understanding of role based access controls and organisational hierarchies
  • Experience in working in a global cross functional service management team
