Cloud Consulting are partnered with a leading company who are looking for a Senior Azure DevOPs Engineer to work on a greenfield project.
The company are based in Central London, but the role can be performed remotely for the foreseeable future.
The role will involve helping our financial services client develop and build a robust, high availability and scalable infrastructure Data Hub Framework for their global organisation. As part of the role you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and release pipelines for delivery of code to various environments for the organisation.
Key Skills
- Significant proven Software Development background
- Data Engineering and/or Big Data background is extremely advantageous but not essential
- Strong experience of developing and maintaining deployment and automation scripts to deliver CI/CD capabilities and processes
- Leverages agreed code and design practices including the use of the CHEF framework
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging of applications experience
- Building a robust, highly available and scalable infrastructure solution on Azure platform
- Creating multiple automated environments - including Development, Test, Acceptance and Production
- The ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, self-review your work and produce deliverables of a high quality under tight client deadlines in time pressured environments
- Strong experience of working in SCRUM teams
- Participates in peer processes to drive higher quality reviews and QA
This role would suit a Senior DevOps Engineer who is Azure certified and passionate about Software, Technology and Innovation and has a breadth of experience in working on a variety of platforms and projects. You will have an eye for detail and thrive when given the autonomy to work on your own, but can collaborative work with other high performing individuals.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of completing long-term DevOps Engineer roles on Azure Big Data projects.
