Description
Our insurance client are hiring a Project Manager to manage the roll out of a new client facing system.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the conversion of high-level business requirements and use cases into detailed functional specifications and project plans, including multi-year projects.
- Develops methods for the implementation of long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of highly complex and regional projects, and recommends appropriate solutions based on the business value.
- Evaluates each project's progress through project plans and regular status meetings to ensure that stakeholder, sponsor, and/or client expectations are being met, and conducts an annual evaluation according to the project evaluation framework.
- Negotiates resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
- Liaises with all resources required on projects to explore and document tasks required to fulfil each group's objectives in the project plan.
- Facilitates the preparation of insightful reports and communications to stakeholders on project status, schedule and costs.
- Serves as an ad hoc project member to solve issues of the highest magnitude of complexity.
