Description
Specialist Modeller/Analyst required to work with a Government Department. This is an initial 6-month contract, In Scope of IR35, paying up to £480 per day. This is a remote contract until further notice (offices in London)
Ideally you will hold valid and current SC Clearance
You will be working on Asylum modelling in support of policy and operational change
Key Deliverables
*Contributions to the development of a DES model of the initial decision stage of asylum processing and analysis of the impact of policy and operational change on cohorts processed and resulting costs
*Contributions to the development of a Systems model of the supported populations in the asylum system and analysis of the impact of policy and operational change on cohorts processed and resulting costs
*Contributions to the refinement of Intake forecasts for asylum claims
*Broader analytical support to emerging policy and operational challenges in the Asylum space
*Ad hoc support to quick-fire analytical questions from policy and operations in the Asylum space
Skills Required
*DES modelling using Simul8
*Cohort modelling using systems approaches
*Demand Forecasting and basic spreadsheet analysis
*Analytical Quality Assurance
*Analytical requirements gathering and project scoping
