Remedy Developer with AI Expert
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, require 2 Remedy Developers with AL Expertise to join their team based in the Reading office. This is a 10-month temporary contract to start ASAP.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Recent 6 years Integration/Development experience of BMC software products: BMC Remedy, BMC CMDB, BMC Atrium, BMC Discovery (ADDM)
- Recent years Development experience of BMC Remedy software - "greenfield" not BMC module based development (ie ITSM)
- Good Oracle SQL*Plus skills against the BMC Remedy Data Schema.
- Good Oracle PL/SQL development skills
- Good Unix/Linux skills (OS/Shell Scripting)
- Excellent knowledge and use of English language (verbal & written).
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels to ensure mutual and shared understanding
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
Experience Required:
- Analysing user requirements
- Researching, designing and writing new software programs (coding) or configurations
- Developing existing programs or configurations, analysing and identifying areas for modification
- Creating technical specifications
- Testing new code and fault finding
- Ensure the security, performance and design integrity of data
- Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defect
- Creating operational documentation (for new deliverables)
- Participate and collaborate in requirement analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment
- Provide hands-on expert level technical assistance
- Resolution of Defect
- Adhere to the defined security and architectural standards
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience integrating existing software products to work together
- Experience with BIRT Reporting Software solution/integrations
- Experience with Tomcat/Web Services.
