OAT Delivery Lead
Futureheads is currently partnered with a digital product consultancy who are seeking an OAT Test Delivery Lead to join the team on an initial 4 month contract. This will be specifically focused upon ensuring Preparation & Execution of Operability Acceptance Testing
Test tools will be used to support OAT. Test scripts and execution against the Service Delivery RunBook will be manually executed.
Role Objectives
The role will involve the following:
- Extend existing Methods of Test descriptions into detailed Test Scenario execution scripts that will be followed by representatives of the future Cloud IT Operations team
- Establish correlation between OAT and NFT Test Scenarios to establish execution dependencies
- Review existing NFT test scripts with a view to ensuring re-use to support OAT (eg load generation/error and event triggering etc.)
- Correlate all RunBook procedures to OAT Test Scenarios to establish dependency Matrix
- Plan and co-ordinate delivery of RunBook processes
- Optimise OAT execution schedule based around identified dependencies
- Work with Cloud Architecture team to ensure environment provisioning pipelines for OAT test environment
- Run test tools/scripts in support of OAT Test Scenario execution
- Daily test execution scheduling & management (including engagement and detailed work allocation for OAT execution resources)
- Manage defect/retest cycles throughout OAT
- Deliver OAT Completion Report.
Required Skills
OAT Delivery: Previous experience of having shaped, planned, prepared and executed Operability Acceptance Test.
Azure Operations Architecture: Knowledge of Azure and specifically, the Azure native monitoring/management tools that will support the Cloud IT Operations teams (Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel and Azure Security Centre).
