Description
We require a Senior C++ Developer with good knowledge of investment banking and in particular complex multi-threaded applications.
The individual in question will be working as part of a globally distributed team producing highly level code. You'll be building, enhancing and supporting business critical systems and will be working closely with the desk both gathering requirements where required and analysing said requirements to put in to action.
FX and pricing is ideally required but other IB tech experience will also be considered in Tandem with the core tech elements below. What is also required is strong problem solving and a good head for mathematics.
The role is working as part of a Scrum team working 50% of the time on pure development and 50% on Quant Analyst interaction to understand what's to be built out etc.
Technical Competencies:
- C+/17, STL, Boost
- Developing on Linux, GCC, GDB, GIT
- Knowledge of software design, development & deployment
- Knowledge of messaging and communication protocols including TCP, UDP, multicast, and data encoding
- Understanding of SQL and simple DDL operations
