Day-rate: £340 per day (outside IR35)

Locations: Remote - Due to COVID-19 this will be remote. May need to locate locally to Ipswich or
Reigate when offices reopen

This is a 50/50 split hybrid BA/PM contract assignment delivering a Data Loss Prevention project

Overview
A global Systems Integrator requires a PM/BA hybrid with (Information and Cybersecurity experience) resource to undertake some project management activities (planning, RAID log management, stakeholder management, keeping the team on track), along with scoping and requirements gathering, and data analysis
Approach
Working closely with the Programme Manager and key internal customers to ensure all planning and stakeholder elements are covered, along with timely requirements scoping and data analysis, to ensure all business needs are effectively met.
Assignment Deliverables

  • Development and maintenance of project plans and the RAID log
  • Scoping of key programmes and projects within the ICS transformation portfolio
  • Gathering and creating requirements through liaising with key stakeholders within the business
  • Running and co-ordinating requirement workshops
  • Construction of workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Identifying problems and writing improved procedures to improve controls
  • Validation of requirements
  • Development of cost estimate models
  • Interpreting, evaluating and interrelating research data and developing integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
  • Creation and mapping of user journeys
  • Ad hoc reporting as required.

Experience Required

  • 2+ years experience as a Project Manager, and 3+ years experience in working within an IT Business Analyst role
  • In the past 3 years, you must have recently experience delivering a project (ideally DLP) working within a 50/50 split Hybrid BA/PM role
  • Experience of working within a Global Organisation/enterprise environment
  • You must have recent experience delivering a DLP (Data Loss Prevention) project
  • Experience of working in a large-scale Transformation Programmes
  • Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining key business stakeholder relationships
  • The ability to develop and run with project plans, maintain RAID logs, keep the project team focused on their tasks, chasing where necessary
  • The ability to formulate, define and categorise business requirements from business needs
  • The ability to develop requirements matrices across a large transformation portfolio
  • Experience in defining 'As is' and 'To be' process maps
  • Experience in interpreting processes and developing user journeys
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working effectively with senior decision stakeholders
  • Experience in facilitating requirements workshops
  • Strong critical thinking ability
  • Experience of working within an Information and Cyber Security function desirable
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
